Treatment Overview

The two types of biostimulators we use are Sculptra and Radiesse. Biostimulators work primarily by stimulating collagen and elastin which improve skin laxity and replace volume loss. This treatment usually consists of two to three sessions spaced six weeks apart.

Treatments began by a deep cleaning of the skin followed by your facial of choice. Facials typically last up to 50 minutes. These treatments will leave your skin looking brighter, healthier, smoother, and refreshed. All of our facials are considered non-invasive treatments.

Pre-Treatment Guidelines

Here are some tips for preparing before treatment:

  • Schedule a consult: Before your first treatment, schedule a consultation with one of our skin care specialists to answer your questions and determine which treatment is best for you.
  • Plan ahead: Discontinue topical retinoids 24 hours before treatment. Avoid sun exposure and blood-thinning products 3 days before your treatment.

The most common products discontinued before treatment are:

  • Avoid make-up the day of your treatment.
  • Notify your skin care specialist about skin rashes, cold sores, or new skin conditions.

Post-Treatment Guidelines

After your facial is complete, take a few precautions to get the most out of your treatment.

Avoid Post-Treatment:

  • High-intensity physical activity for 24 hours.
  • Avoid applying makeup the day of your procedure.
  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure and continuously use broad-spectrum SPF 30+.

What to Expect from Your Treatment

It’s important to follow the skincare regimen provided by your medical provider. Gentle skincare should be continued. Redness, swelling, and peeling may occur. You’ll begin seeing an improvement in your skin immediately.
